I can relate the effects of motion and mass on momentum.
Assignment: Momentum Calculation 20 points. I can use ratios to make unit conversions.
Please take the canvas quizzes to assess your progress in our Momentum unit. You may use your notes to complete the quizzes, however, each quiz has a time limit of 30 minutes. In addition, you can re-take the quizzes to raise your score.
The last day that the quizzes will be available for re-takes is

Next, send me an email and attach the screen shot. After finishing the quiz, complete this activity to prepare for our Lessons on Conservation of Linear Momentum that begin Jan 15.
Pre-Lesson Activity:
Complete the PhysicsClassroom Big Fish - Little Fish activity. Upon completion of this activity, you will write an equation for Conservation of Linear Momentum in a perfectly inelastic collision (next time we will take notes over the associated vocabulary)
BE SURE TO DO THE
BACK OF THE HANDOUT, TOO!! I can use the Law of Conservation of Momentum to solve perfect elastic and inelastic collisions/explostions.

Please take these canvas quizzes to assess your progress understanding the Law of Conservation of Momentum in collisions. You may use your notes. In addition, you can re-take the quizzes once to raise your score. You highest score will be recorded.
Scores on the 2019 Collisions Conceptual quiz will be recorded in the Gradebook and will be included in your grade.
Scores on the 2019 Collisions Calculations quiz will be recorded in the Gradebook and will NOT be included in your grade. New Concept: Impulse
